What I Shoot

Services —

Brand Sessions

A day in your working world. We photograph you doing the thing you actually do — in your shop, your studio, your kitchen — and come away with a library that covers your site, your about page, and a season of posts without repeating itself.

Half day · Full day · On location or in studio

Headshots

Portraits that look like the person who shows up to the meeting. For one founder or a whole team, shot on a clean studio backdrop or in your own space when the room is part of the story.

Individuals · Teams · Studio or on‑site

Content

Food, product, and the steady stream of images a business runs on. Built to a shot list so you know what you are getting, and framed with room for headline type where you need it.

Food · Product · Ongoing libraries

The Process

What it’s like to work with me

  1. Before the shoot

    The questionnaire
Within a week of booking, you fill out a brand questionnaire — what your business actually does, who you’re talking to, and how you want to come across. Everything after this is built on your answers.
    Brand vision call
We get on a call and I bring back a direction: where we shoot, what we shoot, and the shot list we’ll work from.
    Getting ready
I send a mood board so we’re both picturing the same thing before the day arrives. Wardrobe, locations, and what you’re walking away with all get settled here.
  2. Shoot day

    How long
Two to six hours, depending on your package and how many locations and outfits we’re covering.
    What we cover
Headshots, working shots, lifestyle frames, and environmental portraits — the core set a brand actually needs.
    How it runs
We work to a minute‑by‑minute timeline. That sounds rigid; it’s the opposite. It means nobody’s standing around deciding what’s next, and you get far more out of the day.
  3. After the shoot

    Editing
I cull and edit the whole set myself. That takes one to four weeks, depending on the size of the shoot and the time of year.
    Delivery
Everything arrives in a private online gallery — high‑resolution files, yours to download and use.
    Putting them to work
Get them onto your site and your profiles while they’re fresh; photographs don’t earn anything sitting in a folder. If your package includes it, we plan out where each frame goes together.

Behind the Camera

About Me —

My name is Mike Thezier (pronounced tee‑zee‑ey) — my last name looks nothing like it sounds. I’m a film and digital photographer making brand photography for people whose business is built on their own face, hands, and story.

I was born and raised in California, and my life has taken me all over the world — especially France, where half my family lives. That has made me a good guest in other people’s worlds, which is most of what a brand session actually is: paying attention to how someone works and photographing it before they start performing it.

It’s my goal to make photographs that tell your story. Work that is genuine and compelling, and that still looks like you a year from now.
